Elementary School Program

Elementary eAcademy

The Redlands eAcademy is a blended learning program designed specifically for elementary grades. Parent participation is required and is key to student success. Parents who are not home during the day are discouraged from enrolling.

Students attend class in small groups of students with a teacher for

8 hours per week, including enrichment (PE, art, coding, music, etc.) and optional tutoring.  Parents (with their student) also meet bi-weekly with the teacher (via Zoom) to "check-in" on ongoing student progress and allow time for parent questions and support.  At home, the parent is expected to read with their child, help with assignments and projects and ensure that learning activities take place daily.

Students are required to attend all state testing sessions and district assessments. The elementary curriculum is based on California state standards and prepares students for middle school.

Classes are capped at 12 students per class session for core instruction--English, Math, History, Science--and 24 students per class for electives and homeroom activities.
